In brief: What else?

In addition to the crowding do you have an overbite problem, teeth out of position, missing teeth, jaw malrelationships, etc.
Why don't you see an orthodontic specialist who can asses the balance and symmetry of your crania-facial complex, including the teeth tat you focus on that are out of position. Have an examination and get a qualified opinion.

I agree, you need to see an Orthododntist. Also remember that crowding also affect s your gum health .

In brief: Maybe

Seek an opinion with an orthodontist as there may be other options besides braces to treat your situation (e.
g., clear braces, invisalign, lingual braces, other clear aligner options).

In brief: Need?

It all depends on your definition of "need" is and the actual amount of "crowded" your teeth are.
There are times, when the lower front teeth are slightly crowded, an active removable appliance could make the teeth straighter. You should make an appointment with at least one orthododontist to obtain a professional consultation to get that answer.
