Had unprotected sex 1 day before my period and took the morning after pill 12 hours after. Should I worry?

Plan b effect. The morning after pill only decreases your risk of getting pregnant after unprotected intercourse. It does not guarantee it. In about a week pregnancy test taken at home would be reliable. Some irregular bleeding after Plan B is fairly common. Now use condoms and start birth control to avoid future scares.

Not if period comes. If a period comes the next day or two, and looks and feels like a regular normal period, then pregnancy did not occur. The morning-after pill works if taken 0-5 days after sex, so a woman in such a situation can consider taking the pill if no regular normal period begins during the next day or two.

I have a normal 7 day period but it only lasted 4 days this month. I had unprotected sex and I also took the morning after pill can I still be pregnan?

Unlikely. Not sure about the sequence of things, but certainly if you had a period since you had unprotected sex and used emergency contraception you are very likely not pregnant. The fact that the period was shorter, only 4 days, could be related to the use of the Plan B. Pursue more reliable contraception:)

I took the morning after pill 2 days after unprotected sex, I had my period the same day as the unprotected sex. Will this effect the pill?

No problem. Since you got your period when or just after unprotected sex, you can't get pregnant. Taking the morning after pill won't affect things, but change your next period a bit. Please use contraception if you don't wish to get pregnant.

I had unprotected sex on the first day of my period & I immediately took the morning after pill. Now my period has stopped is this normal?

Yes. The pill is progesterone, the same hormone produced during the last 1/2 of the cycle. When Progesterone drops off you have a period; you repleced the progesterone. You'll likely start bleeding again soon. Good luck.
