If I was to become pregnant a month after hiatial hernia repair, would it be life threatening or cause problems? I don't plan on it I'm just curious.

Hiatal hernia. In general, that should be fine. We usually tell patients to wait 6 weeks after surgery before doing anything strenuous, but getting pregnant should be fine.
Shouldn't be. Hiatal hernia hernia repair usually depends on the sutures, but also the body's scar tissue from healing, which takes on average about 6 weeks to get to 90%?Of its ultimate strength. Pregnancy will test the repair for sure. Even if the hernia recurred during pregnancy, it is very unlikely to be life threatening.
