In brief: Bump dyspareunia

During the excitment phase the blood flow in the pelvis increase causing a tenting of the uterus and elongation of the vagina.
If penetration occurs at a time when these changes have not occured the penis will bump into the cervix causing pain. Prolonging foreplay will prevent this from happening. Other conditions need to be excluded by proper evaluation.

In brief: Prolapse

If you have 4 kids, you may have pelvic prolapse.
This causes the cervix and uterus to be much lower in the vagina causing discomfort during intercourse. Treatments can be offered.
