How long would it usually take to fit two dental implants on the upper jaw bone?

In brief: Anatomy and quality

There are anatomical restrictions that make the site either ideal or not: proximity to the nasal sinus is an important factor, as are the roots of adjacent teeth.
It is more important to plan well, have spot on imaging and use proper case selection. The speed of the doctor is really unimportant, the quality of the diagnostics and the procedure are most vital.

In brief: Depends

Area where they are to be placed, position of adjacent teeth, proximity of sinus cavity, space available for implants, density and height of bone, the patient's medical and dental history, whether we we need to flap or use a tissue punch, are a few important factors.
Planning important, if placed under completely "ideal" conditions, then 30minutes w/ healing cap slightly longer w/ temp crowns.

In brief: Less than 1 hour

The surgery itself is less that 1 hour. There are other things to be done, of course.
Are you expecting teeth to be placed on them that day ? If not possible, then will a removeble partial denture be needed while thay heal ? See a prosthodontist for a full evaluation first.

In brief: An hour or less

With good planning using a cone beam ct, it goes pretty quickly.
Good luck.

In brief: 2 hours

However, it depends on many variables.
Are you using it to place crowns on them, or are you using it to help hold a full denture on? If denture, then i would suggest 4-6 mini implants for better stability = 2-3 hours. Your answer depends on the why you are placing them and where they are being placed. Only the dentist placing them can answer this for you.

In brief: Two basic options:

It varies depending upon your particular circumstances.
The actual placement of the implant fixtures takes about an hour, once everything is planned for in advance. Some dentists place temporary crowns on the same day, while others make you a temporary removable bridge and place the final crowns in 4 to 6 months. See a dentist to discuss your particular situation and treatment options.
