Is child abuse a causative factor for domestic violence? What are your thoughts?

In brief: Cause or result

Family violence is a multi-generational process.
Kids who experience/witness it at home from people they otherwise love, will grow up to continue the pattern.Often kids are the victims of family violence/abuse because they aren't skilled enough to realize when they are in danger or agile enough to get out of the way. The process is a merry go round of recurring dysfunction & all loose in the process.

But it is possible 2 break violence & abuse patterns if the grown up decides to face past, make peace w/ it & envision a nice future!

It is possible, but if it was severe, it may take therapy to guide one through the process.
