In brief: Abnormal

Bleeding from the rectum is always abnormal.
This absolutely needs to be investigated by a doctor. It could be from internal hemorrhoids or something more serious. You should be evaluated by a gastroenterologist or GI specialist.

Internal hemorrhoids usually cause painless bleeding, however there are many other more serious causes of painless bleeding that should be ruled out by a GI doctor or Colorectal surgeon before assuming it is due to you hemorrhoids.

In brief: See doctor

Rectal bleeding is not normal and should always be evaluated.
See a colorectal surgeon, who will do a complete evaluatin and examination, and can treat most causes of rectal bleeding.
