In brief: Depends on cause

If acute then sudafed or brief afrin for 3 days.
If allergic then topical spray steroids, antihistamine with decongestant, or singulair (montelukast). If polyps or structural then may need surgery. If metabolic such as hypothyroidism then treatment for the disorder. If from meds then stop or change them. See ENT for complete evaluation.
