Diet, exercise. Diet and exercise (with subsequent loss of body fat) is the best medicine for fibroids. Fibroids are stimulated by estrogen/progesterone. That is why they tend to grow in pregnancy and while they are usually not an issue in menopause. Avoiding red meat, dairy and caffeine has shown benefits. Be careful with soy products as some have phytoestrogens.
Fibroids. Often requires no treatment, but fibroids are a sign that your hormones aren't balanced. See a wellness specialist who uses bio-identical hormones. Avoid Estrogens (and chemicals that act like Estrogens in the body), including soy, birth control pills, pesticides, and alcohol. If you are overweight, losing weight will decrease your 'estrogen burden' as well :-).
