In brief: Possibly

Nuva ring should not cause utis, however the medication could possibly interfere with your vaginal immunoglobulins and make you more UTI prone.
Are u sure you are having utis and not just symptoms, proven utis have positive urine cultures.

In brief: No, possible yes

Are cultures being checked and coming back positive? Then probably the ring, if not then probably interstitial cystitis.
Stop all caffiene, acidic beverages and take zantac (ranitidine). If not improved over several weeks see a doc specializoing in pelvic pain. www.ichelp.org.
