These are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines and work very well to help with common problems caused by inflammation - arthritis, for example.
All anti-inflammatories (including over the counter nsaids) have the risk of putting a litte extra strain on the heart. Although some of these medicatins (vioxx, bextra) were removed from the market, overall most doctors agree these are very safe.
