In brief: Generally short

Generally implantation bleeding lasts for around 24 hours or less; although, I have had patients that can bleed for much longer. This can mean a number of things from the possibility of losing a twin pregnancy, to a small blood vessel breaking, to a friable cervix and/or even the possibility of an early miscarriage.
If it continues, consult your ob/gyn. Good luck.
