In brief: Pancreatitis

Typically chronic pancreatitis does.
Acute pancreatitis if well managed does not lead to cancer.

In brief: Not directly

An acute episode of pancreatitis can be due to a number of causes and represents an inflammatory response of the pancreas to irritation.
It can be from an infection or obstruction or tumor or surgery, etc... A single episode itself does not put u at risk for cancer however chronic episodes over time does increase the risk of developing cancer.

It can be a sign of it.
Have your gastroenterologist run some tests to see why the pancreatitis occurred.
