In brief: Nasal congestion
The major symptoms of rhino-sinusitis are nasal congestion, facial pressure and pain, pain between the eyes, pain over the eyes, yellow-green nasal discharge, post-nasal drainage and more rarely pain on top of the head however the gold standard to make an absolute diagnosis of inflammation of the sinuses associated with the nose is a computerized x-ray of the paranasal sinuses.
