In brief: See a pedodontist

Pediatric dentists are specially trained to handle problems particular to children.
Not only they have extra years of training but their offices have an atmosphere conducive to children. Best of luck!

In brief: See the specialist

Take your child to the children's dentist -- the pedodontist.
They are specially trained and set up to take the best care of the children's tooth needs. They wil help you determine where all the suger is coming from causing the decay and help you correct the diet.

In brief: Dentist visit

You child should be seen by a dentist by age 1.
Then at least yearly, preferrably 2x/year. Decay needs to be resolved or it can and will lead to pain and infection for your child. Remember, you are the parent and it is your job to make sure your child is taking care of their teeth. They don't know better at this point. Please get them in soon.

In brief: Pedodontist

First, find a good pedodontist to take care of all your child's dental needs.
Untreated cavities will only cause pain if not treated. The teeth can become infected and affect the permanent teeth or spread and cause serious complications. Going forward, make sure your child brushes (and flosses) and avoids all foods and liquids that promote tooth decay. Be strong, be positive and be a good parent.
