How many hours do a doctor need to perform a facelift including the neck and lower eyelid blepharoplasty?
Surgeons vary. Length of surgery varies depending on severity of deformity, type of anesthesia and the surgeons skill level. This can only be estimated by your surgeon and should be outlined in your fee schedule. It is recommended to go to a board certified plastic surgeon who has more extensive training in aesthetic surgery. It is good to get two or three consultations to compare.
3-5 hours facelift. The time is variable between 3 to 5 hours to do a facelift and lower blepharoplasty. However, the time involved should never be used as a criteria to determine a surgeon's ability to do a good job. Facial surgery is highly specialized and proper technique is more important than actual time it takes to perform the procedure.
Surgery length. It depends on the type of facelifts done and the experience of the surgeon. Your best bet would be to have your face evaluated by a board certified facial plastic surgeon.
Facelift ; Eyes Time. The time for these surgeries vary depending on the extent of the surgery, experience of the surgeon, and type of anesthesia. In my hands 3-4 hours would be typical.
Around 3-4 hours. But this will, vary on the extent of the laxity and the number of adjunctive procedures that will be performed.
2 1/2 to 4 hrs. There are several techniques and each may take different time. The length of surgery, however should not be the deciding factor between surgeons. Outcomes do not necessarily dove tail with the time taken to do the procedure.
