In brief: A type of Autism

The term "asperger's disorder" was coined to identify individuals with good intellectual function and relatively normal language who still had poor social skills and odd or unusual behaviors.
Because subsequent studies have shown that it has few differences from autistic individuals with similar iqs, the term my disappear in the next diagnostic manual to become part of autism spectrum disorder.

It offers many pluses, from the ability to focus on something worthwhile to being happy with the single life. Get guidance on how to talk to people. Choose a strength / fitness sport instead of a coordinatin / teamwork sport. Say only nice things. Do not feel entitled or bitter. Enbrace who you are.

In brief: Asperger

Sometimes some people diagnose high functioning autistics as aspergers.
These children are intelligent, can talk lengths about a certain topic. They are socially inept. Are not so great with relationships. In fact they function very well in situations where they are allowed to do work on their own and complex work is sometimes their forte.

In brief: Asperger Syndrome

Asperger syndrome is a condition some people are born with.
It is considered to be a form of autism. Many people with asperger syndrome are very bright, have jobs, marry and so on. They tend to be a bit socially awkward and have difficulty making eye contact. Sometimes their speech has an unusual rhythm to it. There is no known cause. They are usually very nice people.
