Don't have to. Home pregnancy test will usually show (+) 10 days after conception. Ovulation usually mid-cycle, so at most, might want to wait a week, but might show (+) already, depending on when you ovulated and had intercourse.
5 days. At five days after missed period the test should be very reliable.
1 week late. Home pregnancy tests generally become positive when you're about 1 week late with respect to your period. If it's negative, repeat in 1 week.
No. The morning after pill which is otc may delay a little but will not stop it.
Pregancy testing. While I am not an expert in this area, I think a woman should wait at least one week after a missed period for a pregnancy test to be most accurate. Also, it is best to do the test first thing in the morning, as this is when your urine should be the most concentrated increasing the chances that the test will detect the pregnancy hormone, which is called hcg. Good luck.
What is the soonest you can take a pregnancy test after having sex? I don't want to wait for a missed period to take a test; when is it reliable?
Pregnancy test. You should wait at least until your period is due or a few days late for more accurate results. If you test to early you may get a false negative test. Take care!
