In brief: Knee

As age continues there is problem of knee cap gliding smoothly along groove in tibia.
Normal is smooth as glass gliding over ice. Time creates changes undersurface knee cap as well as muscular imbalance. Generally hamstrings tight which can also affect low back. Called patello-femoral syndrome. Some injures over years lead to this. A good physician or physical therapist can make definitive diag.
