In brief: Trigger finger
Sounds like you have trigger finger.
It is caused by inflammation involving the tendon and the tendon sheath of your finger. Your finger may get stuck in a bent position and then pops open like a trigger being pulled and released. You should avoid repetitive clenching. May want to take otc nsaids and soak it in warm water. If it's severe, you should see a doctor. Steroid injection often help.

In brief: Trigger finger
This sounds like a trigger finger which is inflammation in the tendon that causes it to catch when trying to open and close a fist.
The inflamed tendon catches then pops free as it is straightened. You can try rest and antiinflammatories if you can take them. Sometimes these have to be treated with an injection or surgery.
