In brief: That is variable

Depending on what your cycles were prior to clomid; if you do not ovulate on Clomid (clomiphene) you can get your period within several weeks, or not get it at all and have to get Progesterone to induce a withdrawal bleed.
Generally, if you do not ovulate on the initial dose of Clomid (clomiphene) (50mg), you can try again on the same dosage or increase the dose to 100 mg. Maybe start Clomid (clomiphene) on days 3-7 instead of 5-9.
