What to treat a cold when pregnant?

Avoid meds. During pregnancy it is always best to avoid unnecessary medications. Since medication has not been shown to change the course of a common cold there is no good reason to take them. Drink plenty of fluids, get rest, and a typical virus will clear in 7 to 10 days.
Rest and Fluid. The same as you would if you were not pregnant; rest and plenty of clear fluids. I hope you feel better soon! do not take any otc meds with out consulting first with your dr.
