Can uterine fibroids cause increase of blood platelets?

In brief: Not directly.

However, fibroids are often associated with heavy periods, and if that is the case, could result in iron deficiency.
Bleeding and iron deficiency can cause an elevated platelet count. There is a rare syndrome where fibroids cause a high red blood cell count, but I have not heard of this happening with platelets.

In brief: Indirectly

If the fibroid is causing heavy blood loss and therefore iron deficiency anemia, that is associated with incr plt.
