In brief: Possible

Bipolar disoder can cause a variety of problems with sleep and mood.
However, the "falling asleep everywhere" is not a common problem with bipolar disorder, unless you are experiencing severe depression. If you are currently taking medication, it is possible that you are experiencing some sedation that may be interfering with your normal sleep cycle. Please check this out with your doctor.

In brief: Sleep issues

It's possible. Those kinds of things can happen to a person with sleep issues who is not contending with bipolar, too.
It might be helpful to look at your meds and when you take them to see if they are causing the sleep problems. Also look at your sleep habits ("sleep hygiene"). In some cases, a sleep study is called-for. Check with your doctor about this, especially since sleep is critical in bp!
