I have neuropathy and I take gabapentin and zanaflex (tizanidine). I just found out I am 4-6 weeks pregnant and I can't sleep without either of these meds. Help?

See below. The first 4-8 weeks of pregnancy are most critical for development, and if the meds were to affect your baby, it would have already occurred. You certainly can have this evaluated by an ultrasound or amniocentesis, and talk to your obstetrician immediately, so you can be reassured. Chances are, you are unlikely to have a birth defect.
