Is there a way to see if someone has had a mini stroke possibly weeks after?

It depends. In theory, if a person has had even a small actual stroke, a brain MRI would show changes in the affected area. If, however, someone has a transient ischemic attack (tia), the effects are typically reversible and therefore do not show any changes on imaging. Given all that, it is more important to be evaluated by a qualified specialist to determine risk factors and conduct appropriate workup.
