I am experiencing really bad menstrual cramps. I have really bad gas. I have taken a tylenol (acetaminophen) already. What should I do?

In brief: NSAIDS

Nsaids like advil/motrin/ibuprofen are great for treating menstrual cramps, and they are over the counter. Some people can't take these medications - check with your doctor to see if these meds are safe for you to take.
Perhaps these cramps are related to your bowels, and not menstrual cramps. You may want to check with your doctor so that you are treating the right cause.

NSAID’s, SSRI’s, hormone meds, OTC meds containing diuretics, warm bath, heating pad, exercise & acupuncture are excellent for PMS / period.
Avoid caffeine, chocolate, alcohol & salt. Get GYN eval to R/O underlying pathology. Consider omega- 3 fatty acids, magnesium (supplementation or through diet) or Black Cohosh with dr ok. Sipping Chamomile can dissipate pain. Ginger helps w nausea.
