1 doctor agrees
In brief: Usually not...
These are usually benign in nature; the only difficulty arises with size.
..They need to be reduced when they become too large; please let your doctor examine it and establish a baseline; he/she can then follow it to determine when a urologist needs to be involved.

In brief: Treatment Options
A varicocele is a mass in the scrotum caused by defective valves in the testicular veins, which cause blood to pool, and the veins to expand.
The pooling blood raises testicular temperature and affects testosterone and sperm production, which can affect fertility. Men can still have babies w/ this, but the odds are lower. Tx safely w/ varicocelectomy, ligation, or embolization.

In brief: Not dangerous
Venous drainage is different for men on left and right side thus some men have more fuller left testicle.
First you want to have it looked at by a doc to make sure it is a varicocele. Because of the weight it can cause discomfort if big. It also increased infertility risk slightly but is not dangerous.
