In brief: Magnesium & anxiety

Magnesium deficiency can produce symptoms of anxiety & depression, like muscle weakness, fatigue, eye twitches, apprehension, nervousness, and rapid pulse.
Serotonin depends on magnesium for its production & function. Talk w/your doctor first, but 150mg twice daily of magnesium citrate, taurate, or glycinate may be helpful. If diarrhea, split the doses up more.
