In brief: Depends on how high
If it's less than 101 or so, then you might not need to do anything.
Fever is the body's way of trying to kill the infection and also maximizes oxygen deliver to tissues to help fight the infection. If it's high enough, the first step is tylenol, (acetaminophen) which is great at reducing fever. If that doesn't help then you can try a tepid bath.
