In brief: I'd advise Vitamin D
Vitamin d is produced by your body's exposure to sunlight.
If your child is not outside much (or even if she is, she may be wearing sunscreen which inhibits vitamin d formation), or doesn't consume much milk, she needs extra vitamin d. At least 400 iu per day is required. Calcium is usually important if your child is not consuming much dairy or calcium-rich foods.

In brief: Yes..in food
Children should be able to get all the calcium they need from foods - including dairy products and vegetables.
For extreme cases, a daily multivitamin like flintstones is usually sufficient.
