In brief: Check viral load

Even when people have high titer hepatitis c antibody responses, some do not have active infection because their immune system cleared their virus on their own.
So the first step is to check a hcv viral load (rna). If the virus is detected in the blood then you do have active infection. At that point you need testing to see how much liver scarring (fibrosis) you have. Work with a specialist.

In brief: Likely Hep C

You may seek confirmation of active infection by getting a test for viral nucleic acid.
Even if you have hepatitis c, please note that there are effective treatments to control the damage. Consult a gastroenterologist for care.
