If a baby has an infrequent and hard bowel movements, glycerin suppository may be used.
However, if infant requires suppositories often, it is prudent to have baby checked whether or not he/she has something serious, e.g., hirschsrung disease.

Why waste money on glycerin suppositories! rectal stimulation is as good.
Glycerin does not solve constipation problem.It only stimulates.

One teaspoon of Karo Syrup in your baby's formula bottle can be very helpful for constipation. You can do it up to times per day. This is inaddition to Glycerin supp or rectal stimulation. Consider change of formula
