In brief: Into vagina
Plain yogurt with live culture of lactobacillus acidophilus without sugar by mouth is a good preventative from yeast infections recurring + worth taking whilst on antibiotics, bvut unlikely to cure established infection.
Some women claim to have successfully used home made yogurt popsicles or suppositories. Better still is Mycostatin (nystatin) vaginal cream.

In brief: Depends
Yeast infections of the mouth or vagina are not likely to be cured by eating yogurt - at least not in a period of time likely to make your feel comfortable.
Yeast overgrowth in the digestive tract is often a result of taking oral broad-spectrum antibiotics that kill both bad & good bacteria. Active culture yogurt can help replenish the supply of good intestinal bacteria that crowd out yeast.
