Doesn't sound like you need oncologist as your tumor has been removed - it was really very tiny.
3 mm? A micro carcinoma. How did one find this? I wonder if this was just an incidental finding. Tumors of this size are not uncommon and their clinical significance is not well understood.

She needs however to see her doctor to get some synthroid as she has now a significant hypothyroidism with TSH of 33.

No, you do not need to see an oncologist- however you do need to see your doctor. If you have to wait for 2 months to see an endocrinologist, then you should go to see either primary care doctor or your ear nose and throat doctor. Based on your blood work- you need to get some thyroid supplement now so you can function better. However if you would like to see an oncologist- it is optional.
