Sometimes I get red and purple dots and edema in my ankle and legs, also my ESR is 113 and I have sjogren syndrome. Are those symptoms related?

Very possibly. One on the complications of sjogren's syndrome is a cutaneous vasculitis. This is an inflammation of small blood vessels in the skin. You need a dermatologic evaluation and a probably skin biopsy to confirm.
Rule out vasculitis. It is perhaps not likely, but especially if the dots are palpable, this may be due to vasculitis from your sjogren's. This may be tricky to work up and manage; you may be getting checked for a cryoglobulin. You should be commended for your careful observations of your body and your proactive approach to your health. Good luck.
