I can't drink more than 1 liter of water in a day without getting a severe migraine. I tried spacing it out more but doesn't help. Any suggestions?

In brief: Maybe not the water

People with migraine do get "brain freeze" when they ingest cold items, and i would imagine that you prefer your water cold.
The volume of cold liquid may well trigger your migraines. Best to handle with preventative approach, and suggest trying otc approach such as riboflavin, coq-10, butterbur, feverfew.

Agree & see patients in ER triggered by dehydration, which I would say is far greater concern. Coldness also as a trigger.
