Lower back pain painful cramps completed cycle going on two weeks had pain in back during period has never happened b4, had sex with husband on cycle?
Uti. Probably urinary tract infection. See your gynecologist for evaluation.
Sudden & Severe hip & lower back pain during period (right side) -goes away as soon as my period ends. What could this be?
Loose joint. 38y female w. menses-related hip/back pain. Women with benign Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, JHS, often suffer greater hip/back/groin pain during menses & late pregnancy because hormone Relaxin causes even greater sacroiliac joint ligament laxity. See comments:
Was told I had ibs, get really bad cramps, lower back pain and nausea during period, could be endometriosis instead?
Sure. Anything is possible. If the pain is linked to your periods/cycles, it is possible.
Back pain. Anti-inflammatories, Ibuprofen or naproxen, usually work well for menstrual cramps and back pain. Combine this with hot tea to help you relax. A heating pad to the back can help as well.
Medications. Pain occurs due to some degree of inflammation during menstruation. You already take ibuprofen, make sure it's in adequate dosage. If that does not seem to work, then you should see an orthopedic physician for underlying low back pathology.
Severe low back pain before/during period. Period stops and starts for 7-9 days. Began 3 months ago. Can barely walk nothing helps the pain. Is it normal?
No. A change in your menses, and a change in your ability to function (walk) is serious and should be discussed with a physician.
