I am a week late on my period. I took two pregnancy test that were negative...Could I be pregnant or could the morning after pill I took in dec affect?
Trust the test. Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctor's office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.
I took the morning after pill and later had a blood pregnancy test the test came out negative but my period is almost two weeks late is this normal?
Could be.. If your period doesn't occur in the next two weeks, check a home pregnancy test. The morning after pill may have been taken too late (although it's most effective in the first 48 hours after conception, it can protect for 5 days maximum), or it may have been ineffective.
Common. It's not normal, but it is common.
Period was due 5 days ago. Took a clear blue pregnancy test today and it is negative. Why am I not coming on my period? Does the morning after pill I took affect it? I'm only 19 I'm so worried.
Delayed period. Likely an effect of the morning after pill, or later ovulation. Recheck pregnancy test if no period in one week. See your doctor if cycle stays irregular.
It's almost two weeks since I toke the morning after piLL and my period hasn't came. Can I Do a home pregnancy test?
Yes. Usually by 14 days - it would be accurate.
I took the morning after pill and it really is delaying my period. I took the pregnancy test and it is negative. Does that mean I'm not pregnant?
May re do the test. If you are more than 4-5 days past the expected date of your period, you may wish to re do the test using first morning urine and following the instructions for the test carefully.
When did you take. Home pregnancy test? If negative on day period was due, can consider retesting in a week. Delayed period can be a side effect with emergency contraceptive pills.
Hello I wanted to ask my period is not normal this month it has been brown I have been sexually active but I did take morning after pill and as well I took a pregnancy test and it is negative why is my period like this? Please help?
Hi I'm 20 I had unprotected sex and took a morning after pill 2 days later. A week later my period came a week early but I didn't have the cramps, and backaches and my period only lasted 4 days not the regular 7. I took a pregnancy test but it came.
Question cut off. Potential side effects w emergency contraception include: menstrual flow changes (spotting, bleeding, early or late period), nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fatigue, headache, breast tenderness & abdominal pain or cramps.
I had sex with my boyfriend, and he came in me so I took the morning after pill, 5 days later I got my period. Should I still take a pregnancy test?
Good idea. This may not have been a normal period. You can expect several months of unpredictable bleeding after taking "morning after pill." check a pregnancy test today and again in 1-2 weeks. If both are negative you're probably in the clear. In the mean time use condoms every time or see your doctor about some other form of contraception.
Not needed unless. You miss your actual period. Emergency contraceptives can can irregular bleeding, early or late periods or changes in flow. If your period is 7 days late, take a pregnancy test & advise your gynecologist. Take care.
I took around 10 morning after pills within the last 2 months and I haven't had my period. My last period was in late Sept. Pregnancy test is negative?
Morning after pills. These are very strong hormonal blasts to your system. Cannot imagine why you were advised to take so many but your body must be in hormonal chaos. Please see you GYN.
Does Morning after pills delay my period? I took it 10 days ago but I still don't have my period. Pregnancy test is negative.
It can. It can cause a delay and it can also cause early bleeding. However, you need to repeat the pregnancy test in 4-5 days as it may not be positive yet.
