I have a bump on my head the size of a dime and its flesh colored. Could this be a cist and do I need to get it checked out?

Bump on Head. "bumps" on the scalp can be a variety of disorders. The most common are sebaceous cysts. The other growths could be fibromas, moles, keratoses, and other lesions. Do have it checked out by your general physician or, preferably, by a dermatologist. Depending how long it has been on your scalp it may have to be removed and tested.
