Is pt for recovery from navicular sfx recommended? I have ball of foot and toe pain when walking in regular shoes now that I'm out of the cam walker.

May be of benefit. Physical therapy may be of benefit for strengthening. Consult with your doctor to see when physical therapy can be started.
YES. If the fracture is healed pt is recommended. There is inherent stiffness and weakness after any fracture ofthe foot or ankle due to the immobilzation in a cast or brace.
Yes. After any significant period of immobilization, there is loss of muscle strength and mass. Pt will help to restore that, as well as restore proprioception and aid in return to a normal gait.

Broke foot per ER doc. Big toe points toward others slightly. Getting a cam walker but should I buddy tape big toe to next toe. In a lot of pain still.

Where is fracture? If big toe, buddy tape may not help, since the big tow is important for step off - you push off the ground with your big toe, and the second toe will not be able to keep the big toe from moving. Was an xray taken? If so, what are the results? You need to make sure you do not have movement at the fracture site - any motion will cause pain and if it moves, it will not heal. Read more...
Depends. Hi-- so it depends on what is broken. It appears as if you have a slight bunion deformity...The "big toe points toward others"--nothing to worry about as long as it is not the big toe that is broken and/or big toe is not painful. We do not buddy tape big toes and splinting is not really appropriate for bunions. Let me know what bone is broken and we can go further with options. Read more...

Fracture Healing Tim. In most cases, 6-8 weeks should be enough to heal a fracture in the foot. Just got out of cam walker for lat. Malleolus frac. But the medial side of my foot is what really hurts. It's swollen. Is just bc of atrophy of muscle?

? Many times in a fx such as ur's a medial ligament tear goes undiagnosed soooo u need a 2nd opinion from an ankle specialist. A tear may have been overlooked. Depends upon if this is the case & if 2 long since injury a primary repair may not b an option but if u r 2 far out, a reconstruction will b required. Seak out a good ankle surgeon, orthopedic.
