In brief: Symptoms vary
Ovulation is associated with an increase or change in vaginal discharge that some women will be aware of, and some women will have abdominal or pelvic pain associated with ovulation, others may have spotting around the time of ovulation.
However, most women do not know for sure when they ovulate. There are ovulation (lh) predictor kits available that can help to determine when ovulation is due.

Women ovulate 14 days prior to their next period, therefore, if you have regular periods, you can calculate when it occurs.
