As dr. Hossain said, drool, fussing, and biting may be signs of teething (although babies can start chewing and drooling months before the teeth start coming).
The gum overlying the tooth can get red and swollen, and you may feel something very sharp just under the gum there. Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen helps, as does cold teething toys.
