Ever since I was diagnosed with lupus just 7 months ago I have gotten pneumonia 6 times, is this normal for people with lupus?

In brief: Not unusual

Lupus is an autoimmune condition and causes immune dyregulation.
Please see a reputable rheumatologist or immunologist. I would suggest vaccinations if they are not contraindicated in your case.

In brief: It is not typical

Anyone who gets pneumonia so often in such a short period of time should be checked by their dr. I would not panic, but would do so as soon as possible.
There are many different " underlying reasons" for such recurrent infections. Simple specific blood screening tests can be done.
