In brief: Light-headed?
Unbalanced? If a person feels light-headed after getting up, he may be getting up faster than his blood can flow to his head.
This happens more often if he has been in bed too often the past week, if he has a new fever or cold, if he hasn't been drinking enough liquids (or is on a salt-free diet or on diuretic "water" pills), etc... His dr. Can evaluate and check for low blood pressure.
