In brief: Alkaline water

Ordinary water consists of 2 hydrogen molecules and 1 oxygen molecule that constantly interact with one another to form oh (alkaline) and h (acidic).
So at any given moment in time, water can be alkaline and then acidic. Other substances naturally found in spring water can raise or lower the ph of water and "ionize" it. Ultimately all water becomes alkaline when it reaches the small intestine.
