Painful (swollen and tender) left ovary few days as period ending, for the past 4 cycles. Could it be from adhesions? I had 2 laparoscopies in past.

In brief: Could be

There are a lot of things it could be.
Unfortunately the nerves from our ovaries, tubes, uterus run together and then they run with the nerves from our bladder, bowels and the muscles in the pelvis. So pelvic pain at the end of the cycle could be from anything in the pelvis. You should see your doctor and have a thorough exam before chalking it up to any one thing.

It could be the Crohn's disease as well. If the gyn exam doesn't show anything, see your GI doctor. You really shouldn't have to be in pain!

In brief: Not Likely

Adhesions to your ovary will not cause swelling.
More likely related to the way your ovaries respond to the hormone changes during your menstrual cycle.
