After discontinuing birth control, how long does it take until your body can become pregnant?

In brief: Pregnant

It usually depends on the person, the type of birth control and time they've been on it.
It can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. If you don't want to get pregnant though, condom use should begin immediately after stopping birth control pills, just in case.

In brief: Next month

Return to normal ovarian function is generally very rapid after discontinuing oral contraceptive pills.
You could become pregnant the very next month after discontinuing the pills.
