Toe is still numb after 3-4 days of ingrown toenail surgery. What should I do?

In brief: Call your doctor

While anesthesia can persist for hours after surgery, depending on what medication us used, numbness days later isn't typical.
Anytime you have a concern after a surgical procedure, your doctor is the best person to contact, for your peace of mind...And his.

Bandages that are too tight will do this as well. Cut a longitudinal slit in them to loosen them

In brief: Nail

Paresthesia or numbness is not uncommon after local nerve blocks; permanent nerve damage it's unlikely from a simple nail avulsion.
Sometimes inflammation and nerve irritation causes numbness. "sensation" to the toe should come back slowly, if symptoms persist let your surgeon know.
