In brief: Possible nasopharyng

You either have chronic sinus infection or chronic infection above and behind the palate.
Unlikely to be from dirt or dust being swept from nose into throat. Need to have ENT look into nose and behind palate to determine source of drainage and obtain secretions for culture. Chronic nasopharyngitis is very hard to eradicate. Ct only useful if there is chronic sinusitis. Could try saline rinse.
